Tonight we decided to carve pumpkins, I decided that along with carving pumpkins we would have a little pumpkin themed evening as well! I headed out to the store to buy our pumpkins, pumpkin shaped cookies, and some pumpkin beer.
We started out the evening with tacos, beer, and the football game. I chose to get ShockTop Pumpkin Wheat because my husband loves to drink ShockTop. Surprisingly, it tasted like pumpkin pie and it was quite tasty!
After Dinner we started in on the pumpkin carving and let me tell you carving pumpkins with a 13 month old is not easy. We only made it through one small pumpkins which was Brooklynn's. haha By the time we were done doing hers neither of us had the patience to carve anything more with her. :)
After pumpkin carving we put B in the bathtub and started the cookies. By the way I sent my dear husband ALL over town to find the pillsbury sugar cookies that have the pumpkins on them and we came up empty handed. He is a good sport though because he went to 3 different stores and the closest we got was chocolate chip cookies with orange chocolate chips that didn't really stand out that much. Oh well, hopefully we will have better luck with thanksgiving cookies :)
Brooklynn and Daddy continued to watch the football game while I cleaned up. Daddy was very impressed when he got excited about a touchdown B through her hands up with him at the same time. She just melts our hearts!
