One of those days

Today has been one of those days, do you ever have them?  The days that never seem to end.  My day started out great, I got in my Insanity Max30 work out.  Today was day 16, Sweat Intervals and Ab attack.  I tried to push my max out time to 7 mins in ab attack but that just didn't happen today, next time!
I'm feeling pumped after this, I enjoy my R&R, get Brooklynn up and feed her breakfast then the whining starts in.  I pushed through it and we headed off to Stroller Strides.  Boy was it nice to be back at our daily Stroller Strides group, I don't realize how much I need these other Mamas until I'm not able to spend a few days with them.  Plus it was nice to have Brooklynn all smiles and enjoying our work out time.

Normally after Stroller Strides Brooklynn goes down for her first nap of the day.  With her being sick for the past week though her schedule is all out of whack and she just DID NOT want to sleep.  So finally I decided to stick her in the stroller and head of for a run/walk.  We went to Grammy's house, she was at work but we still played with her dogs.  Then FINALLY on the way home she fell asleep.

After successfully transferring her into her crib I thought "boy do I need to get some work done" but instead I sat down and that was my first mistake. haha  I was still able to get a few things done but not as much as I would've like and before I knew it she was already up.  I'm not sure if I need to prep myself for the one nap a day yet or not. I'm really hoping not but we will see.  I shot into work to pick up some invoices and paperwork to go through at home. Yikes!

That is when I really started to feel overwhelmed.  For those of you that don't know my family owns a Flooring and Design center locally.  TS Carpet & Design Center , please check us out!  When I got home I started cooking dinner, sticking our salmon in the over about 10 mins later I start to smell plastic burning - what the heck?!?! Turns out Brooklynn decided to put one of her toys in the oven at some point in the last few days - I can't even remember the last time I cooked in our oven.  So I then had to move our dinner to the grill.

It was still an absolutely delicious dinner! Now after getting Brooklynn to bed I have been sitting here flipping through work when I feel like I should be relaxing.  Ugh - I'm sure my day doesn't sound half as bad as what some of you other mommies have gone through today or other days as well.  Here's to hoping tomorrow brings a little girl who is a little less whiney, a more productive day, and less mishaps in the kitchen. haha
