Well this week marks the very first illness our baby girl has gone through. Boy let me tell you was it a tough one!
It has been almost a week now since she has eaten and our poor girl has lost 3 lbs. :( It started out last friday when she didn't really eat dinner but I didn't think much of it because I figured she was just teething. Come Sunday she still wasn't eating and now she was very cranky and whiney. Fast forward to Monday morning and I woke up to a crib full of throw up and a baby girl who barely wanted to move. Isn't it just so sad to see a sick baby. Let me tell you, I had no clue who this little girl was. She actually wanted her Mama! We cuddled for 3 days straight :)
The down side to all the cuddling is that I ended up getting sick myself Tuesday night and man do I hate throwing up! It is just the worst. So now I sit here on the night before Thanksgiving hoping that Brooklynn and I didn't get my mom or my husband sick so that everyone can enjoy a nice family day tomorrow! Brooklynn's spirits were much better today so lets hope we can get her to eat tomorrow. Pedialyte and plain organic crackers just aren't cutting it.
