A Night In

Last night I decided to surprise my husband with an evening in!  He has been working so hard lately and I've been sick all week, so a nice quiet evening paired with a steak dinner sounded absolutely wonderful!  Brooklynn got to spend the night at Grammy and Grandpa's house which meant she got to enjoy an evening of being spoiled!

Placentia's 50th Heritage Day Parade

Today was Placentia's 50th Heritage Day Parade!  Brooklynn and I decided to get up bright and early and go to the Pancake Breakfast with her favorite grandparents and great grandparents.  She ate 3 1/2 pancakes and 2 sausage links, what a little piggy! haha

Is this week over yet?

Do you ever have one of those days? Better yet, one of those weeks?  That is me this week.  Not only have I been sick but I have pretty much been stuck in this house since Saturday. It's just  been one of those weeks that nothing seems to go right. To top everything off this happened to me this morning.

Sick Day - What the hell are those?

If any of you are a stay at home Mom like myself then you know this just as much as I do, we DO NOT get sick days!  These past few days have been the first time I've been pretty sick since Brooklynn has gotten past the stages of just sleeping, eating, and pooping.  Let me tell you, it is NO JOKE! I have to say that is one thing I miss about going to work, being able to call in sick and just lay in bed and sleep on and off all day - that sounds magical!
